How to Buy:
Buying direct through us couldn’t be easier. We accept all major Credit Cards including Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo and American Express. You can send through your card details by email, snail mail, or simply give us a call (0141 55 66 077) and make your order there.
Credit Cards by Phone, Paypal & Money/Postal Order: Immediate shipping of all goods in stock. We may have to source Special Order goods (large sizes, half sizes & more expensive goods) but we will let you know at the time. For Money Order payments, immediate shipping applies to receipt of the order.
Shipping, Handling and Delivery Times:
Any order placed before midday and for which the item is in stock will probably ship that day. This applies Monday through Friday, no shipping will take place on any item on either Saturday or Sunday. Items ordered Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday will normally be shipped on a Monday.
Please be aware that ParcelForce are our default couriers and will be used 90% of the time for mainland UK deliveries. We will let you know when your goods are shipped. ParcelForce offer a second delivery attempt free of charge should you miss the first one. However a third attempt will be charged. If you miss your delivery then please check with your neighbours. A card should be left at your address if a neighbour has accepted the delivery on your behalf.
It must be noted with couriers that there is no way of determining what time a delivery will be made. This can be anywhere between 9am and 3.00pm. Cards will be left should a delivery fail and you will have to contact the courier to arrange another delivery time.
Goods (excluding shoes and boots) up to the value of £34 will be despatched through Royal Mail Second Class Recorded Signed For. This is a Recorded and insured service and takes normally 2-3 days. For high value items (watches and expensive items) we will often prefer to use Royal Mail Special Delivery for the added insurance value of up to £500. It is used only to add extra insurance coverage to your delivery. At our discretion we may use Interlink to deliver high value items.
Delivery Delays & Postal Loss/Damage:
As per the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) we are responsible for ensuring that your goods arrive with you. A seller that claims that they will not take responsibility once the goods are placed in the delivery system is not meeting their legal obligations. We will work with you to resolve delays, failed deliveries and potential losses. However, we will not enter into negotiations relating to replacement or refund until the time period as established by a delivery company regarding late or lost goods has been passed. This is 15 working days through Royal Mail though other couriers have differing policies. When we suspect that an item is lost we will send you through a form to fill in and sign in order to enter a claim with Royal Mail. The seller must make the claim after replacing or refunding the buyer.
IMPORTANT - Conditions for ParcelForce couriers:
ParcelForce provide a second delivery attempt free of charge. This means that should you miss the first attempt you will be able to contact them and arrange a second attempt. Should you miss that you will have the option of either paying for a third delivery attempt at £6.95 or travelling to the local ParcelForce depot and picking up the goods. ParcelForce now offer a service where you can find out a rough idea of the hour in which your product will be delivered. Please look out for their email when we sent a product out. This can only be arranged if you leave a contact email on the details when you purchase.
We are not responsible for you not being in or you arranging an inconvenient delivery time. This can not be stressed enough.
Sales are made on the understanding that you will be in to accept or can arrange for someone to be available to accept your delivery.
ParcelForce account set up means that we will be entering your email address into an automatic shipping system that will generate an email giving you a confirmation of the despatch and the tracking code for your package. This information is automatic and we suggest that you use it to follow up your delivery should any issue arise. This return carries with it a £9.95 charge for failed delivery and comes with an automatic second delivery charge of £6.95. We WILL NOT despatch again until these charges (£16.90) have been met. Should you decide to cancel the sale at this point then the refund given will be minus the initial delivery charge as well as the £9.95 return charge.
No standard mainland UK delivery will be made without obtaining a signature.
*IMPORTANT: Deliveries to Scottish Highlands & Islands:
Due to changes made recently (active from 31/08/09) to the Terms & Conditions of ParcelForce Couriers the Scottish Highlands & Islands delivery destinations are subject to a different delivery charge. This new delivery charge is £17.99. We feel this is excessive and as such will be using Royal Mail for deliveries to the postcodes as detailed below. Where possible we will use Recorded Mail but should the weight exceed 2KG we will use Parcel mail to get your goods to you.
Scottish Highlands includes postcodes: FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-33, PA34-40, PH18-26, PH30, PH31-41, PH49-50.
Scottish Islands includes postcodes: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.
Should you order on a Friday for an item and need a Saturday delivery then we may be able to offer this service. You MUST contact us prior to payment to find out if the item is currently in stock and if you are in time to catch the pick up by the courier. This service carries a variable charge and we generally do not offer the service, however if you are in absolute need we can make arrangements. This only applies when we have stock to hand, we will not promise anything we can’t deliver.
We are now pleased to be offering a far wider service for tracked courier deliveries within mainland Europe. This is a surface-based system with times ranging from 2-7 days depending on country. Price can vary depending on destination country. European customers should wait for an invoice before proceeding to the checkout.

Please note: European prices quoted above are given on the condition that the goods you order fit inside a specific courier supplied bag. If the box containing the goods itself does not fit inside the bag then we will remove the box and place your goods in a solid bag inside the courier bag, enabling them to fit. This is done simply to keep the prices at this rate and will guarantee the protection of the your boots in transit. European customers are responsible for the costs of any return.
Special Order & Popular Size Orders:
Sometimes goods are regarded as Special Order (expensive boots, half sizes, wide sizes) and as such have a longer delivery time as we will have to source them. We will let you know if there are any problems. While we do our best to keep everything in stock at all times there are sometimes supply issues beyond our control. If we are facing a longer time than we would like we will offer you a complete refund or the option of waiting. Due to our sales volume we can’t keep every size in stock at all times. However we try our hardest never to list something that we do not have reasonable access to. Some sizes are inevitably more popular than others and sometimes orders fall in the gaps between deliveries. We will keep you informed of any short delays.
Should you choose to contact us directly and make payment over the phone then your card details will be destroyed as soon as payment is made.
Guarantee on Goods:
We offer a 30-day return on all items, subject to conditions of sale. We also honour the 6-month legal guarantee on all parts and materials, though this is subject to examination to preclude damage inflicted through excessive wear, deliberate damage and inappropriate use. We fully comply with the Online/Distance Selling Regulations as laid down by law. Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on shoes and boots that have been worn outside. The only exception to this is a claim under parts and materials guarantee, and as such are still subject to compulsory examination. Please be aware that footwear is subject to a wide set of conditions and usage, as such no refund or replacement will ever be made prior to a return of the goods. Unsuitable use, excessive wear or external damage by any industrial liquid, machinery or other source renders the footwear non-returnable.
We can’t accept any returns on socks or underwear due to hygiene reasons.
We are happy to exchange goods. If an item turns out to be not what you are wanting then please get in touch to arrange the return of the item. Buyers are responsible for all charges relating to return postage should the item be unwanted. Boot returns due to incorrect sizing must be returned in perfect condition. All returns must be as new and able to be returned to stock. Should they be damaged then refunds will be refused. Of course, returns due to any manufacturing fault will be honoured. All returns must be made in the original box. Please do not deface or damage the box your goods come in prior to return.
Please return goods to us using a signed for delivery service so that returns may be tracked. Also please include a payment to cover the delivery charge of any replacement. In the event of manufacturer fault then replacements will be made with free delivery.
